The Chef’s Apron

20 / Kiiro Vietnam / Designer Maker

Born from conversations with professional chefs and shaped through hands-on testing, the Functional Chef’s Apron was developed as a workwear staple that bridges utility, durability, and understated style. Whether in the heat of a professional kitchen or the rhythm of a home cook’s routine, this apron is built to perform consistently.

Designed for longevity, tested in real kitchens.

Made from a breathable, 8oz cotton canvas, the apron is reinforced with double-stitched seams and metal fittings for everyday toughness. A thoughtful layout of practical pockets, towel loops, and pen slots supports the flow of work, keeping tools close and hands free. An adjustable neck strap ensures comfort across all body types.

Produced in a range of traditional colours – navy, stone, and Cornish butchers’ stripes, the design references culinary heritage while adapting to contemporary needs. A lighter flour apron catered to bakers, while the classic stripes honour the lineage of professional cooking attire.

Custom embroidery was available, allowing individuals or teams to make the piece their own.

This apron was part of a mission to create enduring garments rooted in material integrity and respect for those who work with their hands.
